The Taos Fall Arts Festival Volunteer Board is excited to announce the 2017 Poster Artist, Ed Sandoval.

“Colors of Northern New Mexico”, is a glorious rendition of the area near Ed’s birth place, Nambe, N.M., in northern New Mexico, a press release states.

Sandoval’s cultural heritage clearly defines his style, which he describes as “romantic expressionism”. His paintings have a very vibrant and alive yet spiritual quality, capturing the natural beauty of the region while portraying a simpler era when time moved at a slower pace.

The artist has lived and painted in Taos, N,M. for over 25 years, where he is frequently seen riding through town on his Arabian horse, Cinco de Mayo, or in his blue 1951 Chevy truck. He can be found daily, painting for the public at his gallery, The Ed Sandoval Gallery.

The 2017 Taos Fall Arts Poster will be unveiled along with Sandoval’s original oil. The limited edition poster will be available in June 2017 online at taosfallarts.com, at The Taos Visitor’s Center and at the Fall Arts Festival, Sept, 22-Oct. 1 at the Guadalupe Parish Gym.

Sandoval’s painting, “Colors of Northern New Mexico”, oil on canvas, 36 by 60 inches, and additional new works will also be exhibited at the Festival.
