Watching the eclipse was monumental for many reasons.
For me it was the fact that for a moment in time the whole world looked up from their cell phones.
In that moment there was solidarity unlike any other and as the moon began to revile the sun, the world offered a diamond ring to complete the moment.
In that moment we became very small.
Our disagreements lost in the fact that the World has a plan of its own and no one can hide from it. No one.
Matters not what you believe, the world, the sky, space, these things do not know you.
If one day is a thousand years, I believe it’s lunch time.
