This weekend Metta Theatre/ Metta Young Artists is pleased to host the Vista Grande High School Dramatic Arts Class student production of three hilarious plays, titled An Evening of One-Act Plays, Friday and Saturday (Dec. 8-9), starting at 7 p.m. at Metta Theater, 1470 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, in El Prado.

A Short History of Dating, by Matt Thompson

“A Short History of Dating” is a light-hearted dating game show that’s stuck in a time warp.

Trump vs Kahlo by Bryan Stubbles

“Trump vs. Kahlo” is a comic farce that explores nuances of foreign art, fascism, imperialism and relationships with Frida, the Donald and Dali.

The Game of Life by Christopher M. Connors

“The Game of Life” is the story of one man’s struggle to understand life, how it works, and how to follow the rules.
