Taos High School graduate earns award

Taos High School alumna Hannah Gunther earned the spring Dean's Award with distinction at Colgate University, which is awarded to students with a 3.6 or higher term average.

Colgate University is a selective residential liberal arts institution distinguished by its commitment to global engagement, student-faculty research, off-campus study, sustainable practices and utilizing technology to enhance the teaching and learning experience. Colgate offers 55 majors to approximately 2,900 undergraduate students and supports 25 Division I athletic teams.

Gunther, a standout cross-country and track runner for the Tigers, graduated from Taos High School in 2015.
