The UNM-Taos Klauer campus, located on County Road 110 south of Taos, is closed today (Dec. 1) due to a water main break.

Patricia Gonzales, director of student affairs, alerted The Taos News of the closure shortly before 9 a.m.

The UNM-Taos Kids' Campus is also closed, as it is on the same water system as the anchor campus. Classes are still happening at the downtown campus.

Friday's disruption to class schedules comes one day after the anniversay of a similar issue, when the campus shut down for a day because of a water line.

Gonzales said the issue stems from a water line owned by the town of Taos, not the community college.

The Taos News will update this story as information is avialble.
