The Taos News recorded the BLM's Resource Advisory Council — a group of citizens meant to advise the agency on land management decisions — during the July 10 meeting. Up for discussion was the future of the RAC, which has seen its numbers dwindle due to federal delays in processing applications, as well as updates to the BLM's resource management plan, general recreation challenges and the future Rio Grande Trail.
