Candidates forum on racism planned


Two groups – Taos Take a Knee and Reading to End Racism – are hosting a candidates forum 6 - 8 p.m. this evening (Feb. 28) at the Kit Carson Electric Coop Board Room, 118 Cruz Alta.

Candidates for Taos mayor and council will field questions regarding what they will do to address racism and "other forms of oppression", according to a press release from the groups.

Seating is limited. Food will be provided for the first 65 people at the forum.
