The annual Cleveland Millfest is 10 a.m. - 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, (Sept. 1 and 2) and features artists from all over New Mexico, a variety of native foods and baked goods, fruits and produce and continuous musical entertainment.

The Cleveland Roller Mill Museum, a 3-story adobe, water-powered historic flour mill, will be in continuous operation with four tours daily with local historian Donna Howell. The mill is a massive 8-foot, 6-inch diameter cast iron wheel purchased in the late 1800s to grind grain into flour.

The cost to see the arts and crafts area is free. The parking is $2 per carload. Entrance to mill museum is $3 per person. Mill tours are $4 per person; sign up in advance at mill entrance as tours are limited to 25 people.

Driving Directions:

Location: Cleveland Roller Mill Museum, State Road 518 - mile marker 31 in Cleveland, New Mexico (2 miles northwest of Mora)

From Taos: drive 44 miles southeast on State Road 518 to Cleveland. Watch for the Mill sign on the left side of the road and turn left at the sign. Travel time is approximately 1 hour.

From Santa Fe/ABQ: drive north on Interstate 25 to Las Vegas and take exit 343; get on State Road 518 and drive 32 miles to Cleveland (2 miles north of Mora on Hwy 518.) Turn right at the Cleveland Roller Mill sign. Travel time is about 1 hour 45 minutes from SF; 2 hours 45 minutes from Albuquerque.
