The Federal Bureau of Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction in the murder of two Taos Pueblo men.
According to an FBI press release, victims Antonio "Tony" Romero, 82, and his son Buck Romero, 51, were found dead in Buck Romero's house on June 1.
The Taos Pueblo Governor's Office issued a statement saying "Taos Pueblo continues to mourn the deaths of our Cultural Leader Antonio Romero and his son Buck Romero. A reward has been established by Taos Pueblo for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person or persons responsible for the deaths through Crimestoppers."
"We ask the public to come forward with any information and contact the FBI."
The FBI is not releasing the cause of death at this time but did ask the community to come forward with any information and deliver it to the FBI. Anyone with information is being asked to call (505) 889-1300.
