The following is a condensed version of the Taos Police Department blotter from Nov. 23-28.

Nov. 23

8:16 a.m. Animal noise, Taos Diner II – Dog on west side of Hines before you get to Smith’s – black dog, barking nonstop, tied up alone, small size.

9:41 a.m. Traffic accident, Holy Cross Hospital – Caller was just in an accident in her gray 2010 Honda Insight sedan at the entrance to the ER.

11:31 a.m. Overdose, Des Georges Lane – Caller advised that she is overdosing on heroine.

12:17 p.m. Larceny, Paisano Telecom – A male named [...] went into the store and stole some items. Caller advised that he’s very aggressive.

Nov. 24

1:01 a.m. Welfare check, La Fonda Hotel – White Dodge car has been running for about an hour by Trading Post. Male was borrowing the internet and fell asleep.

12:42 p.m. Animal stray, Zuni Street – Caller was walking home when three dogs came from their yard and attacked her, almost bit her.

1:43 p.m. Unknown problem, Men’s Shelter – Caller just dropped some things off at Men’s Shelter and he witnessed people yelling and the scent of marijuana was in the air and he wanted to report it.

4:13 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Juan Largo Lane – Panhandling aggressively, wearing blue jeans and jacket, Anglo male.

5 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Carson Trailer Park Space – Caller advised that after they had Thanksgiving dinner they had a couple of beers and now they are having a verbal domestic. He would like her to leave and go to her mother’s before it turns physical.

Nov. 25

2:10 a.m. Civil standby, Camino de la Serna – Caller advised they need a civil standby, they had a verbal domestic and she needs her computer for work. Can meet at Walgreens.

4:37 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Trujillo Lane – Caller stated [...] was choking her out, stated that she is all the way at the end of Trujillo, might be walking.

6:09 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Dona Ana Drive, Taos Spa – Caller advised there was a male waiting at the door to her work this morning asking for money, said she felt it was her only option to give him money.

12:02 p.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Highway 68/Cervantes – North bound lane, parked by Gems and Minerals, a Honda Civic, grey, and Toyota Camry, white. Caller was rear ended.

12:33 p.m. Larceny, Smith’s – Caller advised that she believes someone stole her expensive sunglasses from her pocket at the store.

Nov. 26

1:03 a.m. Reckless driver, Paseo del Canon – Advised that there are two vehicles racing around the roundabout, unknown vehicle descriptions.

2:01 a.m. Shots fired, Taos Plaza – Guests have been calling saying they heard two shots fired.

6:48 a.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller advised that there is a male sleeping in the bus shelter, requesting he be checked on.

8:13 a.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Shell – Individual in giant smock walking towards Walmart in the middle of the road, sitting by the light on Merced and Sur.

10:26 a.m. Criminal damage, Kit Carson Road – Caller advised getting to the business and found window to her business smashed.

4:05 p.m. Property found, John Dunn parking lot – Someone left a purse stuffed in a Dos Equis box with a sweater next to it, unknown who it belongs to.

Nov. 27

7:02 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Ranchitos Road and Valverde Street – Caller advised that a female driver in a Jeep Cherokee, dark brown in color, wrecked into a tree towards this intersection. She is partially in the roadway.

8:58 a.m. Burglary automobile, Paseo del Canon East – Caller advised that a car seat was taken from her vehicle and vehicle was gone through. Stated that the vehicle was locked and unknown how they got in.

9:21 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Paseo del Canon East – Caller advised that past the bypass there is a light green Nissan that is off the roadway, young female, no injuries at this time.

10:57 a.m. Welfare check – Caller is requesting a check on her friend, she has not heard from her in six days, is known to have heart problems, she does have a dog in the residence.

12:02 p.m. Unknown problem, Upper Ranchitos Road – Caller advised that he is highly intoxicated and a girl is trying to take his money.

4:18 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Kachina Lodge – Caller advised that [...] are renting this room and there has been a lot of traffic in and out of there. People are coming and going every 10 minutes.

Nov. 28

4:26 a.m. Civil stand by, Dona Ana Drive, Taos Spa – Caller would like for an officer to stand by as she opens the club.

10:19 a.m. Welfare check, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Chevron – Caller advised there is a male individual sitting in a black Dodge Ram, is acting strange talking to himself and keeps pacing back and forth, keeps getting in and out of the truck.

10:40 a.m. Harassment, Gusdorf Road – Caller advised that a female was calling her and started threatening her, stating she was going to go to the office and beat her up.

12:02 p.m. Battery, Herdner Road, Dollar Tree – The local transients and intoxicated people in town are fighting on the side of the store.

1:28 p.m. Graffiti, Gusdorf Place – Someone put graffiti on all of caller’s equipment.

2:57 p.m. Welfare check, Kit Carson Park – There is a male individual, tall older man in a black Dodge Ram, yelling at himself and pacing back and forth, unknown what is wrong.

6:31 p.m. Information report, Randall Lane – Caller advised that [...] ran a gun for him a couple of days ago and the gun came back stolen.

9:03 p.m. Welfare check, Taos Inn – Male pacing back and forth across from the Taos Inn, walking towards Martyrs now, wearing yellow jacket.
