The following is a condensed version of the Taos Police Department blotter from Nov. 9-14. (Nov. 10 not available.)

Nov. 9

2:40 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Gusdorf Road – Caller stated that her husband is going crazy trying to kick down the door. Stated that they both have been drinking. Stated that her kids are scared of him now.

9:32 a.m. Trespassing, Valverde Street – Caller saw a male climbing over the neighbor’s fence, stocky, wearing brown clothes, and she wanted to report it.

11:20 a.m. Traffic accident, no injury, Placitas and Don Fernando – Caller advised of a two-vehicle accident involving a white Dodge truck and a gold car.

11:46 a.m. Loitering, 420 Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Wendy’s – Male has a big Army backpack, highly intoxicated, sitting inside and they want him removed.

3:30 p.m. Loitering, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Albertsons – Caller advised that there are some male transients that are making a shelter out of the blue bread containers behind Albertsons.

7:09 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Burger King – Caller stated there is a homeless man that is yelling at customers telling them to leave and going up to the counters and talking about Trump knowing that most of the workers are Hispanic and making them uncomfortable.

Nov. 11

7:20 a.m. Unknown problem, Mable Dodge Lane – Caller advised she wanted to speak to a police officer immediately regarding some drugs being stolen. She wouldn’t give an address. Advised that she does not trust the police going over to her residence and would not give further information.

8:25 a.m. Suspicious circumstance, Weimer Road, Cielo Azul – Caller in apartment would like to speak with an officer regarding finding a bunch of drug needles in the Dumpster.

3:05 p.m. Traffic accident, private property, Herdner Road – Caller advised that her neighbor accidentally backed into her brown Hyundai Elantra and blue Tahoe.

3:23 p.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Norte – Caller advised that a vehicle backed into the building and did significant damage.

6:02 p.m. Unknown problem, Upper Ranchitos Road – Caller stated that there was a group of drunk men walking in the middle of the road and wouldn’t let her pass.

Nov. 12

2:04 a.m. Shots fired, Aguirre Lane – Caller advised that someone shot up his cars and took off. Suspect driving a newer model Toyota Camry grey in color. Advised they went down south on Medio.

2:09 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Hill Drive – Caller would like to speak with an officer regarding a possible stolen item he found at property, some wrapped in silver rings.

2:19 p.m. Criminal damage, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Mondo Italiano – Caller would like to speak to an officer regarding someone trying to break into the business.

2:59 p.m. Narcotics offense adult, address unknown – Caller advised that his fiancé came to Taos to stay with a friend. Was having a friend over by the name of [...] who was giving her heroine in the afternoon. His fiancé died at the hospital in Santa Fe due to an overdose and wants to speak to an officer about seeing how to get this guy.

5:11 p.m. Welfare check, Taos Plaza – Caller advised that there are four young kids riding their bikes in the gazebo and jumping on their benches. Wants someone to check it out.

9:10 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Guadalajara – Suspicious car outside with doors open. Has been there for about an hour and a half. Volkswagen Beetle, silver in color. It does not belong to a customer.

Nov. 13

8:36 a.m. Suicide subject, Camino de la Placita – Driver of white Cadillac just left at a high rate of speed to go jump off the bridge.

10:26 a.m. Burglary residential, Martinez Lane – Caller advised that someone got into a window last night and burglarized the house.

1:38 p.m. Traffic accident, injury, Paseo del Pueblo Sur – Caller advised that he passed by a three-car collision involving a red Ford car, Subaru wagon and a silver sedan. Unknown injuries at this time. Airbags were deployed.

7:03 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Randall Lane – Caller states there is a red truck that has been driving to her house and leaving and someone is banging on the door and she is afraid.

7:51 p.m. Domestic disturbance, Walsh St. – Husband is being belligerent.

11:59 p.m. Motorist assist, Ranchitos Road – Caller advised that she needs help to get her vehicle off the roadway. It ran out of gas.

Nov. 14

3:31 a.m. Domestic disturbance, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Smith’s – [...] just assaulted her. Pulled her hair and tried to stop her from leaving the house, hit her and busted her lip, she bit his arm trying to get out. She ran to Smith’s to get help.

8:57 a.m. Escort inmate, Civic Plaza Drive, Taos Municipal Court – Inmate needs transport for arraignment.

2:45 p.m. Fraud-forgery, Paseo del Pueblo Sur, Centinel Bank – Caller is requesting to speak to an officer in reference to some debit card fraud.
