Letter: Signage

Posted

In the confusion that has reigned in our nation's capital over the last two years, perhaps some of it could be cleared up with new signage.

We could begin with "Change of Address": 16 Putin Place, Washington, D.C. (District of Chaos).

Once inside the capital buildings, each department could be made more visible with appropriate signs. Here are a few suggestions.

The Oval Office: "Under Remodel" - Please see "Mar-a-Lago"

Security Clearance: "Driver's License Required"

Budget and Finance: "Credit Cards Only"

State Department: "Out to Lunch. Back in 2020"

Republican Caucus: "One Way Only" or "Do Not Pass"

Democrat Caucus: "Center Lane Only"

Intelligence: (Where is Telligence?)

Homeland Security: "Please Make an Appointment"

White House Communications: "See Fox News"

Vice President's Office: "AWOL"

I am certain that these signs, and any others that may come to mind, would help to clarify the current state of the union.
