The Bureau of Land Management announced Monday (Feb.12) the agency will host two public meetings regarding public access needs on an area of public lands that extend into areas near Embudo and Dixon.
"There will also be a discussion and identification of key issues and access opportunities that should be evaluated during the travel management process," read a press release from the agency.
The first meeting will be held on Feb. 21 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Pojoaque Middle School, Sixth Grade Academy Conference Room, located at 1797 State Road 502, Santa Fe. The second is scheduled for Feb. 22 from 3 to 6 p.m. at La Arboleda Community Center, located at 705 State Road 76, Chimayo.
The public may submit written comments to the BLM Taos field office between Feb. 21 and March 30 by emailing comments to BLM_NM_TAFO_routes@blm.gov or by mailing comments to the BLM Taos Field Office, Attn: Outdoor Recreation Planner, 226 Cruz Alta Road, Taos, NM, 87571.
