Cedric Watson and Bijou Creole brought the tasty sounds of Creole culture to Taos
Cedric Watson and Bijou Creole brought the heart of Louisiana to Taos on Saturday night (Nov. 16) during their playful and energetic performance at Taos Mesa Brewing’s Mothership off U.S. 64 west.
Delighted fans laughed and twirled around one another as Watson and his five-person band filled the room with the sounds of Creole culture. Singer-songwriter, fiddler and accordionist Watson is a four-time Grammy-nominated musician who has been recognized nationally and internationally for his unique blend of French, Spanish, African, Caribbean and Native American music.
Based in Lafayette, Louisiana, Watson and Bijou Creole were brought to the Mothership stage by Roots and Wires, Taos’ concert and local radio show producer.
