The following is a condensed version of Taos Police reports from July 3-8.

July 3

12:56 a.m. Stray animal, Orca Car wash - A horse was in the road by the car wash.

1:29 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Super 8 - A few folks were drinking and being loud in the parking lot.

3:50 a.m. Kidnapping, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A man was saying someone had kidnapped his wife.

9:48 a.m. Suspicious circumstances, Taos Academy - A caller said they heard a woman screaming in the area.

1:09 p.m. Welfare check, Salazar Road - A caller said a man selling newspapers was yelling at people.

4:43 p.m. Welfare check, Roy Road - A man in a wheelchair was yelling at cars.

10:20 p.m. Public affray, Speedway - People were fighting in front of the gas station.

10:31 p.m. Suspicious circumstances, Los Pandos Lane - A white van was parked in the area for an hour and kept flashing lights. A person was walking around it with a flashlight.

11:54 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Hotel La Fonda - Some people on skateboards were making noise and yelling.

July 4

2:13 p.m. Welfare check, Walgreens - A man in camo pants was lying in the parking lot.

3:46 p.m. Harassment, Fred Baca Park - A caller said a person in a decommissioned police car was being verbally abusive.

4:49 p.m. Larceny, Allsup's - Some kids took off with two packs of beer and got into a gold 4Runner.

5:39 p.m. Trespassing, Bealls - A caller said a woman was cursing in the store and refused to leave.

8:15 p.m. Information report, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - Someone shot fireworks at the caller and their dog.

10:15 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Zuni Street - The house behind the caller was firing off fireworks.

10:48 p.m. Stray animal, Guadalajara Grill - The caller just picked up a dog that looked scared.

July 5

12:24 a.m. Fireworks, South Trapper Road - A caller said there were loud fireworks being shot off.

2:09 p.m. Parking violation, Kit Carson Park - A caller said a white Jeep was parked on the sidewalk.

3:37 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Mondo Italiano - A caller said two youth were acting suspicious and stole a tea bag.

4:04 p.m. Suspicious circumstances, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A man in a Buick changed his license plate in a parking lot.

8:38 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Martyr's Steakhouse - A man was playing a guitar and "being obnoxious."

9:25 p.m. Narcotics, Paseo del Pueblo Sur - A man was possibly shooting up narcotics.

July 6

3:21 a.m. Shoplifting, Shell - A man in a blue jacket walked in and stole some alcohol.

3:58 a.m. Welfare check, Albright Street - A woman was screaming in the field near the men's shelter.

9:57 a.m. Property found, Valverde Street - A caller said they keep finding needles on their property.

11:32 a.m. Trespassing, Smith's - A man was panhandling and refusing to leave.

1 p.m. Larceny, Smith's - A man stole a pack of beer and left in a gold Buick with a small child.

1:09 p.m. Breaking and entering, Camino de la Plactia - A caller said their vehicle had been tampered with. A man was seen walking away from it who said he thought it was his.

1:13 p.m. Assault, Baskin-Robbins - A caller said there as a fight in progress.

3:09 p.m. Public affray, Smith's - Three tribal members were fighting.

4:35 p.m. Psychiatric behavioral, Walmart - A woman was sitting in the front of the store screaming.

5:40 p.m. Battery, John Dunn Shops - Two men were fighting in the area. One had an axe during the fight.

6:43 p.m. Trespassing, Super Save - A man was panhandling outside and leaving his belongings everywhere.

7:32 p.m. Larceny, Walgreens - A man stole a customer's purse from their unlocked vehicle.

July 7

8:51 a.m. Larceny, Super 8 - Someone stole a mountain bike off the caller's gray Tacoma.

4:35 p.m. Trespassing, Acoma Street - A caller said there were campers on their property.

7:13 p.m. Trespassing, Donabe - A man was playing his guitar through an amp. When asked to leave he said he was native and told the caller to get off his land.

7:24 p.m. Suspicious circumstance, Leatherman Street - A woman with a shaved head was walking into people's yards.

8:44 p.m. Disturbing the peace, Ledoux Street - A man was camped in the back of the property yelling.

9:43 p.m. Robbery, Smith's - A man in a gray sweater stole a woman's purse and assaulted a man.

10:07 p.m. Shoplifting, Albertsons - A man stole some beer and was walking around the parking lot.

July 8

7:49 a.m. Breaking and entering, Gusdorf Road - A caller said someone broke into the community building.

7:54 a.m. Assault, Paseo del Pueblo Norte - A man in a red tank top pulled a knife on someone.

8:31 a.m. Harassment, Randall Lane - A caller said their neighbor was threatening their daughter.

8:34 a.m. Animal abuse, Roy Road - A caller said a woman in a pink hoodie was banging a cat against the wall.

8:54 a.m. Disturbing the peace, Ledoux Street - A caller said they chased a man off the property but he is back.

9:42 a.m. Criminal damage, Town Public Works yard - A caller said damage was done to the fence.

3:05 p.m. Welfare check, Albright Street - A man in a white shirt was drunk and "causing a ruckus" at the bus stop.

5:42 p.m. Threatening phone call, Guadalajara Grill - A caller received a text trying to solicit sex.

6:31 p.m. Welfare check, Super Save - A silver Dodge Caravan had a toddler standing in the seat with no car seat.

8:30 p.m. Welfare check, Tewa Street - A caller said a man was screaming, "Please take it out," from a neighboring house.

10:43 p.m. Trespassing, Smith's - A man was drunk in the area and refused to leave.
