Robert "Bartley" Malouff, 1937-2018


Robert "Bartley" Malouff

was called home on Sunday,

March 25, 2018 (Palm

Sunday). Known to all as "Bart"

he was born in Capulin, CO., on

December 9, 1937 and died at

the age of 80. Bart lived in

Costilla, NM most of his life,

but moved to Farmington, NM

in his later years. Bart is pre-

ceded in death by his beloved

wife, Liz (Padilla) Malouff, his

parents, William and Lyvonne

Malouff, parents-in-law, Fermin

and Apolonita Padilla of Cos-

tilla, NM, brothers, Jim Malouff

(Rose) and David Malouff

(Cece) of Farmington, NM. He

is survived by two adult chil-

dren, his daughter, Paulette

Malouff Horn (Terry) of Denver,

CO., and son Michael A.

Malouff (Landy) of Farmington,

NM. He is also survived by sis-

ters, Margaret Malouff Muniz

(Sandy) of Capulin, CO., and

Susie Malouff of Farmington,

NM. Bart leaves five grandchil-

dren, Lisa Anne Ribordy, Jes-

sica Villarreal (Kiko), Christa

Malouff Perez, Mlchelle Malouff

Pineda (Roberto), Justin

Malouff (U.S. Army) and 9 great

grandchildren; Jaiden, Noah,

Cash, Kyana, Dyanna, Ezzach,

Jacob, Santiago and Vanessa.

Bart was loved by many aunts,

uncles, brother-in-laws, sister-

in-laws, nieces, nephews, cous-

ins and countless friends. He

served in the U.S. Army during

the Korean conflict. He owned

a trucking company most of his

life alongside his wife, travel-

ing across the U.S. We honor a

handsome man of charm, hon-

esty and humor. May a perpetu-

al light shine upon this special

man. Services scheduled as

follows: Rosary -Friday, April 6,

2018, 6:00 p.m. at Sacred

Heart Catholic Church, Costilla;

Mass, Saturday, April 7, 10:00

a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic

Church, Costilla.
