A valuable member of the Lady Tigers track and field team, Goler ended her high school career on a high note as she helped her team clinch their first state title in four years May 11-12. A job well done, Margot Goler!
Goler was a three-sport athlete who made it to state in all three of her activities in 2017-18. A five-year letter-woman, she was named to both the all-district and all-state teams in soccer, playing defensive back for coach Casey Tonrey and Hank Friedman. Goler also swam in the 200-yard freestyle relay for coach Alfredo Aleman at the state meet in Albuquerque Feb. 17, and ran in the starter position in the 4x100 and 4x200-meter relay teams for coach Benny Mitchell – finishing fifth and second, respectively.
